With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, I have worked my way up from the ground level to become a knowledgeable and practical Building Surveyor based in Canterbury.

 

My passion for building led me into Local Government, where I completed a Diploma in Building Control Surveying and gained experience working on large commercial projects and complex, high-risk residential buildings.

 

Over the past decade, I have developed extensive knowledge across a range of areas including fire safety, plumbing, drainage, and building systems, alongside strong working knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code. This allows me to provide well-rounded, practical advice that goes beyond theory and focuses on real-world outcomes.

As a Qualified Builder, Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP), and Site Safe member, I bring a hands-on understanding of how buildings are constructed, how issues arise, and what is required to resolve them properly.

I provide clear, honest assessments to help clients make informed decisions, whether it be for a pre-purchase inspection, building survey, or damage assessment.
